You are ready to take the workshop “Paint Your Nahual” with a painting teacher!

To take it, you need to purchase your kit, which includes a small wooden nahualito already primed in a base color, a strip of acrylics with primary colors, from which you can obtain many more, a small manual, and other basic decorating tools that we will teach you to use. Take a class with a painting teacher and paint your own nahual. Learn techniques such as brushing, pointillism, and get to know the symbols we use to decorate the pieces.

The class can be taken by both adults and children alike. The teacher and the class adapt to the age and skill of the group.

ONLINE PAINT YOUR NAHUAL WORKSHOP

This option is ideal for group school activities, cultural agendas, if you live in another state, or even outside the country, and want to experience the Jacobo and María Ángeles workshop in the comfort of your home.

You just need to purchase the kit, which includes a small wooden nahual painted in a base color, a strip of acrylics with primary colors, from which you can obtain many more, a small manual, and other basic decorating tools that we will teach you to use. We will take care of sending it by courier, and we will also provide you with a link to the class taught by one of our decorating teachers, and that's it!

ONE-DAY TURNING CLASS

The lathe is a traditional tool used by potters that consists of two round plates that rotate on themselves. By kicking the base plate, the top plate begins to spin, allowing you to shape the piece from the centrifugal force applied in the dance of your hands on the materiality of the clay.

In this class, you will be able to produce a piece of your choice: whether it's a cup, a glass, a bottle, a bowl, a plate, a small cup, or a vase. We will teach you how to use this interesting tool, as well as share our knowledge in the technique of kneading, among others. We will show you the possibilities that exist to make your piece something exceptional.

MASK CARVING WORKSHOP

The objective of this four-day workshop is to introduce participants to the techniques of wood carving and hand decoration in order to stimulate their creativity by creating their own mask. An element with great meaning and tradition in the community of San Martín Tilcajete.

Sanding or polishing of the wooden mask.
