Pangea

From the majesty of gorillas to the grace of deer, each animal is an ambassador of the biological wealth of the territories they inhabit. At the Jacobo & María Ángeles workshop, our commitment endures, revealing the multiplicity of worlds that coexist in our common land. Originating from Pangea, a supercontinent that was made up of the landmasses we now know as continents, the Pangea: Africa-America collection celebrates the union between two territories through aesthetics, innovation, and historical narrative.

The exhibited pieces stand out for their vibrant and captivating aesthetics. Their expressive colors transport us to lush and diverse landscapes, reflecting the chromatic diversity of Africa and America, while the materiality of the resin whispers a future of possibilities.

This exhibition invites us to reflect on the interconnectedness between Africa and America as one shared land. Throughout history, both continents have shared cultural similarities and historical experiences. The diversity of fauna present in the works reminds us of the vast natural wealth that characterizes both territories.

Our commitment is to showcase the diversity of the territories we inhabit. This exhibition is a testament to our dedication to highlighting the beauty and connection between Africa and America, inviting the public to explore and appreciate the cultural richness of these continents as well as recognizing that art and exhibitions are not only an aesthetic experience but also a platform for information and documentation. Thus, we not only celebrate the beauty of art but also contribute to the knowledge and understanding of our shared world.
