Beedxe Beenda Hruzaani'

Dídiamant

The Jacobo and María Ángeles Workshop is pleased to present Beedxe Beenda Hruzaani’ (Jaguar – Shining Serpent in Zapotec), an exclusive piece made of 1.5 kg of fine 999 silver, which features a large inlay of 15.16 carats of diamonds, in collaboration with the artisan jewelers of the Mexican company Dídiamant.

Precious stones that splendidly compose almost entirely the morphology of this fantastic creature with a jaguar face and a serpent body. Impressive jewels redeemed from the blood, resulting from exquisite scientific work in the manufacture of lab-grown diamonds, conceived with a strong commitment to the environment and of exceptional quality.

With a clear reference to the history of contemporary art (see For the Love of God by Damien Hirst), the artisanal workshop Jacobo and María Ángeles moves to an unprecedented format; combining their Zapotec worldview with anthropological, political, and of course, aesthetic notions.

Beedxe Beenda Hruzaani’ is a piece that was presented at the 2021 edition of New York Fashion Week. An innovative production horizon that puts into tension everything previously known by the workshop, and that it shares honestly in our home.
